Travel the Modern Way via Airtrav PH

I’ve never been to Puerto Galera eversince! It doesn’t come to my options whenever I plan our family travels. Why? Simply because I don’t want to travel that far and get stressed from Manila going to Batangas Port to Mindoro. They say it will take about 5 to 6 hours and I can’t imagine how to handle whatever problem might arise along the way especially if I tag along our kids! Whew!

Worry no more because I’ve found a modern way how to get there! Forget about the 6 hours travel time! It will only take about less than an hour from Manila! What if I tell you that another option of traveling to Puerto Galera is to fly! I mean, travel by air! Yay, now we’re talking! Yes, you’re read it right! That’s what I recently discovered and experienced! I bet my readers want to know more! So, fasten your seatbelts and buckle up as I share to all of you the details of this amazing adventure via Airtrav PH!

Airtav PH is a Filipino-owned company that started operation five years ago for chartered flights which has launched scheduled flights this year in response to the growing need for quicker travel between shorter distances in the country. Recently, they acquired a brand new Cessna Grand Caravan EX Amphibian that can take off and land on both land and water. Operates from CCP Bay Terminal in Roxas Boulevard.

On the day of our flight, we arrived a bit early because we don’t want to be late for this exciting getaway! As soon as we arrived at CCP Bay Terminal, the Airtrav’s seaplane is already docked on the waters.

We were assisted by their team and check-in was very quick! We just presented our E-ticket with ID’s and that’s it! Only lasted in less than 10 minutes!

Before we hopped inside the seaplane, we had pre-departure and safety briefing with Capt. Joshua Mast. Safety first of course!

Time to explore what’s inside Airtrav’s seaplane! It has eight premium seats where all passengers are guaranteed to have their own view while flying!

Someone is ready to fly!

The fun began when the engine started and we started moving! Soooooo thrilled that we’re gonna take-off from the waters of Manila Bay! Yay!!!

Actually, I was a bit nervous and excited at the same time! Thought that during take-off until flight it will be a turbulent ride but I was very wrong! It was indeed seamless, kudos to our pilot! Wooohooo!

Of course, during the entire flight all I did was to look at the amazing view and enjoy that luxury which I never had even on my other flights! Imagine seeing those breath taking views! Only with Airtav! High-five!

After 40 minutes, I can already see the beauty of the island of Puerto Galera! Yay!!!

And off we land to the shore! That was really cool! Airtrav indeed took us straight to the beach!

Imagine we’re just at Roxas Boulevard less than an hour ago and now, we’re here at Puerto Galera already! Instead of spending almost 6 hours travel by land and sea, we got here in just 40 minutes! That was really amazing!!!

We arrived directly and literally at the shore of Airtrav‘s partner resort, Friday’s Puerto Galera! I was just on swimwear, I could just dive immediately on the beach and swim! Hahaha! I’ll do that next time 🙂

As soon as I set my foot on Friday’s Puerto Galera, I already felt how tranquil and calm the place is! I knew already that we will have a relaxing stay! On my next post, I’ll share more about our stay in this awesome resort!

The next day, we’re scheduled to go back in Manila around 11am of course with Airtrav again!

This time, we’re joined with foreign clients, total of 8 to be exact. Remember I mentioned that the seaplane can accommodate 8 persons? Look how comfortable the seats are!

So within the duration of the flight, once again we had the luxury to see the view from above with our own windows! It was such an amazing experience indeed to fly with Airtrav!

Here’s what I love about the entire getaway experience with Airtrav:

1. Hassle-Free: No long lines during check-in.
2. Time Saving: No need for the usual 2 hours arrival prior to check-in! Just need to be there atleast 20 minutes before flight and be onboard in about 15 minutes
3. Comfortable: With their premium seats, you can really feel you’re on a private plane
4. Modern: No need to brave the traffic nor get exhausted from long hours of land travel
5. Stylish: An airplane to drop you off directly on the beach! That’s what you call travel in style!

In this fast-paced modern world, there’s no doubt that we proiritize convenience above anything else, most especially when it comes to travelling. That’s why there’s GRAB over regular taxi and there’s P2P Premium Buses over the usual buses in the Metro! People would rather go for the premium rate in exchange of convenience and peace of mind.

Why endure the stress of longer hours spent in the airport or traffic on the road when you can afford to pay the premium? I would like to reiterate the word “afford” because Airtrav PH‘s target market are those working professionals who loves to travel and has the budget to go beyond the usual.

In my case, I would definitely choose convenience beyond anything else when it comes to traveling! From my past horrifying experiences whenever we had delayed flights, I always end up saying “SEAT SALE KASI” just to pacify myself. One more thing, I believe that a perfect adventure starts from the moment you step out of your home.
