Hotel Sogo More Than Just A Place To Go

Everywhere in the metro, there’s Hotel Sogo! Do you agree? You’ll always find the signature red building, available 24/7, open for every couple! It’s the largest hotel chain in the Philippines with their promo tagline “Go! Go! Sogo!

I was able to attend the Media Thanksgiving Party held at SkyBar Grill & Restaurant in Panay, Quezon City. What I know about Hotel Sogo was just this: it’s a place for the couples! Period! Of course you know what I’m saying! I’ve been in some of their branches before with my husband. But did you know that the management has been doing something beyond those red walls?

Here are the interesting campaigns that caught my attention about Hotel Sogo:

They are reinventing the brand which will cater not only for couples, but also for barkada and family! As shown in their video ads, whatever occasion that needs celebration, Hotel Sogo will be the perfect place! It boasts having exquisite features and comfort at very affordable rates! Families can enjoy free Wi-Fi access, cable TV with in-house movie channel, digital music system, 24-hour food and beverage service among the hotel’s most popular amenities.

The Doctors on Wheels (DOW) Program provides free medical xonsultations and medications to under-served communities throughout the country. It has a mobile medical bus equipped and furnished with four examining beds, 10 examining chairs, medical/examination lights and other equipment used for medical missions across the country. The DOW is staffed by volunteer doctors, social workers, nurses, pharmacists and Hotel Sogo personnel.

“Hotel Sogo has always believed in being of service to the Filipino, not only to the patrons of our hotels, but especially to the underprivileged community. Since Hotel Sogo started its operation, Hotel Sogo has strived and has been committed to delivering important service to the Filipinos,” adds Ms. Geminiano. Since the inception of DOW in 2015, about 3000 indigent residents have already benefitted from the program.

Moreover, Hotel Sogo launched its first ever Digital Film Contest for amateur and professional film makers throughout the country. The contestaims to help individuals convey their creativity and imaginations through Digital Films. Three entries will be chosen as winners and will receive P100,000(1st Prize), P70,000 (2nd prize) and P50,000 (3rd prize).

With the campaigns I found out, I’m giving my full support and respect to the staff and management of Hotel Sogo! May you never get tired of providing and giving back to your patronizers, the Filipinos!
